The Fun of the Fair

It seems we have been so busy ditsyfying lately that our new blog has been somewhat neglected - whoopsie!  Right we're back in action and on a cold, dark Tuesday night our attention has turned to the up-coming festive season, "deck the halls with boughs of holly, fa la la la la la la la la!"

Well ok perhaps its a bit early for all that but having just agreed our first ever Christmas Fair (woo hoo!) we are most certainly getting in the Christmas spirit and are working away like Santa's elves on obscene amounts of caffeine (or candy canes, not sure which!).

The Monica-esque tendencies have come to the fore with lists upon lists of things we'll need for our stall at the fair, materials we need, ideas for Christmassy creations - you name it, it's on a list somewhere.

On a more productive note, we have been transforming all sorts of unloved and slightly lacklustre items into what we hope will adorn the walls and living rooms of the good people of Lurgan when they turn out in their masses to attend the Emmanuel Church Christmas Fair on Saturday 1st December.

Here's a little sneak peek at what we will have on offer . . .

Until next time . . .

Thumbs up on Sundays

Yey, finally getting into this whole blog thing - bear with us, we're newbies!

With a busy week doing the day job, Sunday has pretty much turned into 'ditsyfying' day here at Ditsy House HQ.  This weekend has been no different - we have just finished a lovely shabby chic style coffee table topped with fab sheet music and even spent a little bit of Saturday night painting canvases - rock n roll!  We've also completed out first custom order this week - some unique Oasis music themed canvases which resulted in a very happy customer :)

Here's a little peek at what we've been up to . . . DHD xx
